The first few minutes following a fracture are absolutely crucial. If not handled properly, it can lead to more damage, increased bleeding, and a longer recovery time.

✔️ Keep the injured area still
✔️ Apply ice (but don’t put it directly on the skin)
✔️ Carefully manage any bleeding
✔️ Move the patient safely
❌ What to Avoid:
• Trying to reposition the bone
• Massaging the injured area
• Applying heat right away

If you notice numbness, severe swelling, or if you can see the bone, it’s time to seek urgent medical help.
